What If You Had The Chance To Save A Life?

If you had the chance to save a life, would you? You can save a life, by putting yourself in the national bone marrow registry, you may be a match to someone who has cancer and needs a life-saving bone marrow transplant. Today I put myself in the registry its been something I've been meaning to do for a while since turning 18, I was walking down the block running errands, and there was a drive going on , so I got swabbed! I was heartbroken that I couldn't be a donor for my little cousin last year because I was underage. Julianna didn't find a match, but her twin sister Jessica was her donor. We had a fashion show benefit for Julianna in May, raising $1500 to help pay her medical bills & raise awareness for the need of more donors.

Me & my Minnies Julianna & Jessica at the fashion show benefit, I'm thrilled to report that the girls are doing great & Julianna went back to school & her hair is coming back in...she's wearing headbands again. I've been saving a couple of Looking4Lilly headbands for sometime to give to the girls when the time was right & tell them all about the Lilly story & prints. I can't wait to surprise them!
DKMS- has been gaining press have you seen the Sally Hansen Ads?

Log onto DKMS.org for more information , another great organization is Gift Of Life. No matter who you sign up with, it all goes to The National Bone Marrow registry.

Give The Gift Of Life.

XOXOXO
Jenna
